Dr Kathleen Rochester is based in Tasmania, Australia and has a PhD in Old Testament (Jeremiah and Ezekiel) from Durham University, UK. Her thesis has been published as Prophetic Ministry in Jeremiah and Ezekiel (Peeters, 2012). Her Masters degree work was on the relationship between lament and discernment through the Old Testament, and has been published as Israel’s Lament and the Discernament of Divine Revelation (Lambert, 2012). She taught with the Open Theological College (University of Gloucestershire) for some years and previously taught a wide range of theological and practical ministry subjects in Australia and the UK. Kathleen has been an ordained minister since 1991 and has pastored churches in Australia, the UK and Canada.
In 2011 she taught at the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology in Addis Ababa. At present she and her husband, Dr Stuart Rochester, teach intensive courses in Biblical Studies at accredited evangelical colleges, most of which are interdenominational, in various countries. As International Teaching Partners they have taught at South Asia Institute for Advanced Christian Studies (Bangalore, India), Malaysia Bible Seminary (Kuala Lumpur), Biblical Seminary of the Philippines (Manila), Sabah Theological Seminary (Kota Kinabalu), and Latvian Biblical Centre (Riga). She and her husband have four children and five grandchildren. She is a pianist and has directed Christian musicals.
